Every year, our community comes together for a new election day. From Preschool through Upper Secondary, students participate in activities designed to understand and experience this democratic process.
More than choosing representatives, we seek to help our students understand the value of participating, listening, proposing, and serving others.
Deliberation and Consensus
A Democratic Process with Clear Rules
The Electoral Council is the highest authority that regulates the student government’s electoral processes at Gimnasio La Montaña. It is an autonomous body that operates according to democratic principles and the School Handbook, as set out in the Electoral Statute.
The Electoral Council is made up of:
