Curricular Frameworks

We enrich learning through internationally recognized curricular frameworks that broaden perspectives and empower every student to reach their full potential.

01

Ontario

In Kindergarten 4 and Kindergarten 5, the Ontario Curriculum promotes learning through play and inquiry, recognizing the child as a whole person. Its approach is organized around four areas: foundations of language and mathematics; problem-solving and innovation; self-regulation and well-being; and belonging and contribution. This approach fosters independence and lays the foundation for lifelong learning.

02

Common Core

From Transition through Grade 9, GLM integrates international standards in English, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science to strengthen academic rigor, deep understanding, and critical thinking. This approach encourages inquiry, the analysis of different perspectives, and the ability to apply knowledge to solve problems.

From Transition through Grade 4, students learn through projects (PBL) that connect different subject areas to real-world challenges: they investigate, collaborate, make decisions, and create. From Grade 5 through Grade 8, they deepen their understanding of each discipline while strengthening their knowledge, skills, and ways of thinking.

03

AP Capstone Diploma

The AP Capstone Diploma strengthens critical thinking, research, and the thinking habits needed to excel in higher education. It is a flexible, high-expectations program that develops 21st-century skills and provides tools for navigating university admissions, with opportunities for recognition at national and international universities.

Our Educational Framework

Learning Principles

We understand learning as a transformation that emerges from interaction with natural, social, and cultural environments and is reflected in new competencies and ways of acting.

The student is the protagonist

Takes an active and responsible role in their learning, supported by teachers who respond to their needs and potential.

We plan to learn

We carefully design each learning experience, aligning objectives, strategies, and assessments.

We learn by thinking

We prioritize deep understanding, critical thinking, and reflection over memorization.

We assess to grow

Assessment and feedback strengthen autonomy, metacognition, and a growth mindset.

We develop skills for the future

Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, technology, and communication in Spanish, English, and French are part of our education.

We learn in a safe and demanding environment

We combine high expectations and rigor with an environment of trust, collaboration, inquiry, and support.

We learn to know ourselves and live together

We strengthen socioemotional development to understand and manage emotions and build harmonious relationships.

We learn to transform

We integrate ethics and global citizenship to understand the world’s challenges and act responsibly in response.

Foreign Languages

Foreign Languages

We are a bilingual school that prepares our students to communicate and thrive in a multicultural world. English is developed from Kindergarten through an immersion model, becoming a language of learning in different areas of the curriculum. In 8th Grade, we introduce French as a third language, strengthening our students’ communication skills and global perspective.

English Language Certification

By the end of their education, our students reach C1 level in English, certified through IELTS or TOEFL, and B1 level in French, certified through DELF.

French Language Certification

Our students reach a B1 level of French, certified through DELF.

Partial Immersion Model

English is integrated as a language of learning across different areas of the curriculum from Kindergarten onward.
