Gimnasio La Montaña – Open Admissions 2026

Character Development and Values Curriculum

We educate people who can think, decide, and act with judgment, responsibility, and strong values, respecting diversity and cultivating a deep sense of transcendence.

Identity and Faith

Catholic Education and Values

We offer a Catholic education that respects freedom of religion. We deeply value a sense of transcendence and the development of spirituality in our students’ education.

Growth in faith and values: we provide opportunities for faith development, values formation, and learning about doctrine.

Ecumenical spirit: practicing our faith is not a requirement to belong to the school; our community includes families of different beliefs as well as non-practicing families.

Religious education: all our students are invited to participate in religious and values education programs.

The Pillars of Our Character Development

The 4 Dimensions of Our Character Development Curriculum

01

Emotional Intelligence

We recognize and manage our emotions to face challenges with confidence and promote well-being.

02

Social Skills

We learn to relate to others through respect, empathy, listening, and care.

03

Habit Development

To develop soft skills that enable them to perform effectively and make an impact in the environments where they live, our students work on three fundamental pillars: agency, autonomy, and empowerment.

04

Moral Development

We develop the judgment needed to make responsible decisions and act with consistency, honesty, and respect.

Global Experiences

International Trips

At GLM, we understand learning as an extended classroom, where every experience and context is part of an educational ecosystem that broadens our students’ perspective. That is why our international trips to France and Canada allow them to learn in other contexts, engage with new cultures and languages, strengthen their autonomy, and develop a truly global perspective.

Emotional Well-being

Learning Support Center – KOA

At KOA, we support each student by recognizing their characteristics, needs, and talents to promote their well-being, learning, and holistic development. We work collaboratively with students, families, and teachers to provide timely and personalized support.

Personalized Support

Taking each student’s individual characteristics into account, we design different strategies that allow them to reach their maximum potential.

Learning Support

We address cognitive, emotional, and learning needs with the support of specialized professionals and strategies tailored to each student.

School Inclusion

We implement a range of strategies to support each student’s learning process according to their individual needs, including environmental and pedagogical adjustments and, when necessary, academic accommodations.

Adjustment and Transition

We support students and their families as they join GLM, facilitating their adjustment to school life, routines, and dynamics.
